He is survived by: his wife Mildred Carruthers; his children, Elizabeth, Glenn Parsons, Bruce, Margaret Carruthers, David and Carol Carruthers; his grandchildren, Emily, Greg, Andrea and Lauren; his siblings, Cathy (Ken McHarg) and Bobby (Pat Riendeau); his nephew Kevin; his niece Sue McHarg; and his cousins, Helen and Brian Riley.
