He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rainey and John Rainey; his brother Jack Rainey (Dorothy); his brother-in-law Edward Wadman; his nephews, Thomas and James Wadman; and his niece Margaret Anne Wadman.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Kathleen Meatherall (LeRoy), Susan Daher (Timothy), David Rainey Jr. (Ines) and Proud; his grandchildren, Kyle, Sheina, Heather and Henry; his sister Patricia Wadman; and his nephew Edward Wadman. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
