He was predeceased by: his wife Eduarda Teixeira; and his parents, Jose Teixeira and Clotilde Paiva. He is survived by: his children, John, Stephen (Tracy Lynne) and Suzanne; his grandchildren, Taylor, Keegan, Julia Petrie and Kate Petrie; and his siblings, Irene Lima (late Joe Lima), John (Ilda), Joe (Gloria), Ed (Monica), Gilbert (Isabel) and Toronto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
