In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Ana Lucia Borba of Mattos; his daughter Karin Ann Lorento (Tony); his stepchildren, Rebeca (Ricardo) of Mattos Daminelli and Atila (Andressa) of Mattos Daminelli; his grandchildren, Pedro and Marina; his stepgrandsons, Santiago and Ricardo; and his brothers, Tony (Jean) and Michael (Karen).
