He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Diane (Doug Goodhand), Carol (late Murray Morgan) and David McLaughlin (Yok); his grandchildren, Brittany (Mark), Curtis, Patrick, Kathleen and Ellamarie; and his great grandchild Elliana.

The family is grateful for the exemplary attention and compassionate care that Don received from the staff at peopleCare Oakcrossing, where he was recently reunited with Elaine after two years of separation related to COVID.
