He is survived by: his wife Lorene Smith (Axford); his children, Laurie Emmerton (Mike) and Greg Smith (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Adam (Tyson), Paul (Sandra), Kyle Emmerton and Marlee Smith; his great grandchildren, Jules, Rosalind, Shiye, Esme and Luka; and his siblings, Mary, Edna, Helen, Bill and Harold.
