She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Donald Mellon; her children, Christine, Timothy, Janne and Julie (Michael Brown); her grandchildren, Jessica (Scott Loveland), Gabriele, Quinlan, Patrick, Andrew, Samuel, Grace, Thomas and Walter Mellon; her siblings, Donald Gray (Celestine) and Sally; and her parent Patrick Mellon.
