She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Weldon and Frank Weldon; and her brother Grant. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, James (Sheila), Tom, Dan (Kelly) and Anne; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Claire, Kyle, Rachel and Brennan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dorothy to The Friends of the London Public Library.
