He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Richards and Jean Richards. He is survived by: his children, Pastor Dan Richards (Amy), Becky Mathieu (Mike), Kim Richards and Tim Richards (Tara); his grandchildren, Caleb, Jonathan, Shelby and Peter; his siblings, Bill Richards (Penny), Allan Richards (Dianne) and Judy Hincks (Keith); and his friend Gateway Church. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Doug are asked to consider Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
