He was predeceased by: his daughter Annie Markett (Greg); and his brother Ivan. He is survived by: his wife Marija Soče; his daughters, Kathy Soče and Lucy Soče (Richard Bazinet); his grandchildren, Ryan, Loren, Aryn, Madison and Nora; his brother Ruža; his siblings' children, Stanko, Pero and Šima; his brothers, Frano and Ivanka; his siblings' children, Jago, Dijana (Nidal) and Robert; his sister Šima; his sibling-in-law Gojko; his siblings' children, Mate, Desa and Mira; his parents, Jago Soče and Luca Soče; his brother Mile (Zdenka); his siblings' children, Marcela and Mario; his cousin Bojka (Marko); and also, Joe, Luke and Stana.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, and St. Stepan Church in Čerin, Čitluk, an organization close to his heart.
