He was predeceased by: his daughter Annie Markett (Greg); and his brother Ivan. He is survived by: his wife Marija Soče; his daughters, Kathy Soče and Lucy Soče (Richard Bazinet); his grandchildren, Ryan, Loren, Aryn, Madison and Nora; his brother Ruža; his nieces and nephews, Stanko, Pero and Šima; his brothers, Frano and Ivanka; his nieces and nephews, Jago, Dijana (Nidal) and Robert; his sister Šima; his sibling-in-law Gojko; his nieces and nephews, Mate, Desa and Mira; his parents, Jago Soče and Luca Soče; his brother Mile (Zdenka); his niece Marcela; his nephew Mario; his cousin Bojka (Marko); Joe, Luke and Stana.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, and St. Stepan Church in Čerin, Čitluk, an organization close to his heart.
