He is survived by: his wife Ally Lightfoot; his children, Emily McDowell, Laura McDowell and Daniella Attkinson; his parents, Rosemary Attkinson and Michael Attkinson; his siblings, Chris Attkinson (Linda) and Sharon Attkinson; and also Joelleen Crowder. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, niece and nephew, cousins, friends.
The family asks for any donations or memorial contributions to be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
