He was predeceased by : his parents, Neil and Catherine (DeGraw). He is survived by : his wife Donna; his children, Terry (Kerri), Steven (Amber) and Neil (Kelly); his grandchildren, Victoria, Colin, Abagail, Luke and Connor; and his sisters, Christine Zavitz (Mike) and Mary Belrose (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Regiment Museum (thercrmuseum.ca) or Grand Lodge of Ontario – Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
