He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Mary Blackmore and Warren Basil Blackmore. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Wilf Jacobs; his wife Irene; his children, Michele Specht (Michael) and Christopher (Karen Conway); his grandsons, Steven, Brendan and Ethan Specht; and also Leo Blackmore (Madeline).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (511 Cheapside St, London, ON N5Y3X5). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
