He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda Hoe; and his brother Ernest Hoe. He is survived by: his children, Charles Hoe (Janice), Debra Freeman (Gerald) and Karen Bell (Arvin Hill); his grandchildren, James Hoe, Mary Hoe, Christopher Freeman (Katherine), Trevor Freeman (Heather), Jeffrey Bell and Steven Bell; his great grandchildren, Natalie Freeman, Sophia Freeman, Theodore Freeman and Wyatt Freeman; and his sisters, Lillian Richardson and Hilda Knighton.
