He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis McCollin (Brown); and his brother Douglas McCollin. He is survived by: his children, Mike McCollin (Rhobin) of Cochrane, Alberta and Jason McCollin (Becky) of London; his grandchildren, Livia, Anthony, Jaidyn and Samarah; his sister Evelyn McCollin; his sister-in-law Peggy McLean of Barbados; and his nieces, Jackie and Laura.
