He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Sturgeon and Edna Sturgeon; his siblings, Glenna Shipman (Randy), Debbie Sturgeon, Beverly Zalwasky (Sturgeon) and Randy Sturgeon; and his nephews, Kyle and Gregory Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his spouse Leslee Sturgeon; his siblings, Rhonda Sansom (Rod) and Glenn "Sam" Sturgeon (Pam); and his daughter Lena Weekes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
