She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John F. Bowman and Ruby Grace Bowman; and her husband William E. Shadwick (Bill). She was also cherished by three sons, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
They did just that, entirely with their own labour (with hand tools) and help from friends (aside from the excavation for the foundation).
