It is with sadness that the passing of Ernest Arthur Petrie (London, Ontario) is shared. Ernest passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ernest will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Ernest by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Ernest is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Ernest’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his wife Noreen (Sandy); his sister Doreen Pointon; his brother-in-law Lou Pointon; and his nephew Billie Hobbs. He is survived by: his nieces, Jeri Moon (Herb Moon), Lori Jo Coleman (Gary Coleman) and Christine Andrews (Rob Andrews); and his nephew Peter Hobbs (Tammy Hobbs). He is also survived by 7 great-nieces and nephews, 12 great-great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (709 Wonderland Rd, London, ON N6H).
