He was predeceased by: his spouse Lucrezia Lucy'Zina'Desando; his parents, Fernado and Maria; his sister Maria Martellotti (late Frank); his niece Sue Martellotti; his nephew Fred Martellotti (Fran); and his sister-in-law Rosina Anania (late Lorenzo).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Bourne (Al), Frank Desando, Fred Desando (Isabel) and Lori Martinez (Luis); and his grandchildren, Melissa Russell (Marc), Malori Boyce (Josh), Alex Desando (Kyle), Sydney Desando (Matt), Jake Desando, Abigail Martinez, Genevive Martinez (Joe) and Antonia Martinez. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (345 Lyle St, London, ON N5W3R3). An entombment was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
