He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Simpson and Emily Simpson; his wife Dorothy Joan Simpson; and his brother Anthony Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Simpson, Frank Simpson, Peter Simpson and Mary Simpson (Paul); his grandchildren, Christopher, Brent, Jordan and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Matthew and Chelsea; his siblings, Michael Simpson (Joan), Peter Simpson (Elizabeth) and Margaret Finch (Graham); and his sister-in-law Joan Murray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a limited number of people are able to attend.
