With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garth Schweitzer of London, Ontario, born in Paris, Ontario, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delton Schweitzer and Gladys Schweitzer; his significant other Eleanor; his daughters, Alice Melfi (John), Cindy Blaha (John) and Debbie Jeffery (Brian); his stepchildren, Wendy Sutherland (Robert), Blair Masschelein and Phillip Masschelein (Laura); his siblings, Denise Johnston and Brian Schweitzer (Doreen); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua (Marsh), Natasha (Matt), Ashley (Chris), Dylan, Kyle, Blake, Caroline, Liam, Charlotte and Reed. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners, or St. Martin-in-the-fields Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
