He was predeceased by: his parents, Reno Dominic and Danica Bozzer (Banfinch). He is survived by: his brother Brian Bozzer; his wife Lynda Bozzer (Bilyea); his siblings, Donna Wallace of British Columbia and Rick of Timmins; his stepchildren, Joanne, Melissa and Michael Shymanski; and his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Eddie and Parker Shymanski.

Gary was a Lion's Member for over 52 years which invloved volunteering with the Starlight Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Lions Telethon for food baskets for Christmas, Bar-B-Qing at car shows, Jazz'n Blues Festival, dog walk, and Purina Dog Guides.
