He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Young and Shirley Young (Gerrard). He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Young (Carol) and Kathy Keefe (Dan); his siblings' children, Dave Keefe (Delia), Kaitlin Keefe (Colin Rae) and Christine Stowe; his great-nephew Caden Stowe; his uncle Roderick Young (Aileen); and his aunt Marlene West (Roy).

Donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation for the Wishing Well Program at Mount Hope, or to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (London Chapter) or to a charity of your choice.
