He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Higgins and Marguerite Higgins; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his children, Matthew, Christopher (Kayla), Katherine Dewar (Kyle), Michael and James; his grandchildren, Chloe, William, Alexandra, Benjamin and Kellen; his close friend Cristina; and his sisters, Janet and Marilyn. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
