He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Verteramo and Teresa Verteramo; his siblings, Rosa Cordi, Dominic and Tony; and his granddaughter Hannah Verteramo.

He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Elizabeth Bauer (Barry), Paola Sutton (Frank) and Andrew Verteramo; his granddaughter Emma Verteramo; his sisters, Maria Scaro and Angelina Longo of Italy; and his uncle Joe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
