She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jay Johnson (Joanne), Chip Johnson and Lesley Hamilton (Bob); her grandchildren, Steven (Emily), Sarah (Cole), Tracy (Matthew), Travis (Abra), BJ (Alison), Michael (Taron), Levi, Hailey, Harvey, Ava, Lilly, Piper, Emma, Dashel, Jacob, Jessie, Jada, Alina, Maggie, Ellie, Bobby, Zachary, Chelsea, Owen and Kate; and her niece Charmaine Tatti (Joe).
When she was in her 90's, Glad learned both to knit and paint, even holding several fundraisers using her knitting skills to make sock slippers, which she sold to raise money for charity.
