He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Yvonne Sawyers (Brabant); his children, Bernard (Maria), Sigmund, Lisa (Rob), Jennifer (Shawn) and Todd Allen; his grandchildren, Scott, Sig, Nicholas, Kyle, Tyson, Nolan, Kerenna, Ashley, Megan, Colin, Chantel, Zachary and Isabella; his great grandchildren, Azelea, Manson, Axel, Sterling, Hudson, Milo and Haislee; his pet Chelsea; his siblings, Rena (Richard), Hartrik, Aubrey Sawyers (Pat), Dalton Sawyers (Doreen), Louise Kennedy (Russell) and Mildred Dillon (Frank); and his sisters-in-law, Rita LaVerdiere and Helene Boutet.
