Gloria Denise Popat Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Denise Popat (London, Ontario), who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends.
Gloria was born in Mindemoya, loving daughter of the late Ernest and Bernice (Corbiere)
Debassige.
Gloria lived in London Ontario where she owned a successful food store with her husband and family. She took pride in merchandising her shops front windows and loved to share cooking tips with her staff and customers.
Gloria will always be remembered for her boisterous laugh, her hilarious sense of humor and her unbelievable home cooked meals. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She valued family time and loved visits from all of her family members. Her front door was always open to guests who wanted to stop in for a chat and a visit. She loved to cook, fish on the boat and was always the life of the party.
Gloria will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones but memories of her will live on forever.
Lovingly remembered by her husband Haniff, her daughter Aziza (Cory) and her son Khalil.
She was a proud grandmother to Sakina Sage.

COVID-19 and funeral restrictions, a Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held at a date to be determined pending on COVID-19 status.
