He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Nora (Chatwin) and Murray I. Kierstead; and his wife Joan Kierstead (Kaulbach). He is survived by: his siblings, Lloyd Kierstead (Abbie) of Plaster Rock, N. B., Norma Brewer (Allison) of London, ON. and Erna Cole (Alton) of Fredricton, N. B.; and his children, Deborah and Pastored.
