He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Joan McEllister; and his brothers, Morley and Bill. He is survived by: his children, Gail Dewulf (Mike Reid) and Greg McEllister (Karen); his grandchildren, Michele Wolwowicz (Andrew), Lindsay Carnahan (Jeff) and Tracy McEllister (Kris Vanderheiden); his great grandchild Madelyne Vanderheiden; and his sister Mary McEllister (Dick Williams).
