He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anne; his children, Ron (Marie), Ken (Greg Golovchenko), Rob (Rhonda MacKinnon) and Maria Tremeer (Greg); his grandchildren, Trevor, Erica, Vanessa Giesen, Aaron, Luke Giesen, Emily, Laura and Julia Tremeer; his siblings, Willy, Geert, Tony, Riet, Bert, Martin, Jos and Dinie; and his siblings-in-law, Betsy, Bert, Mary, Bernie, John, Jerry and Gerda. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry's memory can be made to St. Joseph's Hospice of London or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
