He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Geris and Emilie Geris; and his sisters, Willie Norton, Anne Longland, Ellie Ouellette and Mary Willms.
He is survived by: his spouse Jane Summerhurst; his siblings, Bill (Kathy), Frits (Bernie), Kay Fiorino and Rita McIntyre; his children, Terri Fulop (Jeff), Jodi Geris, Steve Geris, Kristen O'Connor (John) and Carolyn Wammes (Mike); and his grandchildren, Corey, Adam Fulop, Jackson Geris, Rachel, Aidan O'Connor and Rya Wammes. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
