He was predeceased by : his parents, Lily May Mitchell of Millbrook and William Edward Chessman of Patrington, England.. He is survived by : his wife Eula Chessman; and his grandchildren, Brian (Michelle), Mark (Livia), Jeff (Sophia), Heather, Peter (Brittany), Duncan (Holly), Alexandra, Leo, Lindsey, Rachel, Rebecca (Stefan), Kelly, Jack, Sarah and Matthew. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westview Funeral Chapel (709 Wonderland Rd, London, ON N6H).
