She is survived by: her significant other Ian Smith; her significant other's children, Cameron (Megan) and Bethany (Rob); her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Tarin, McKenna, Declan and Elora; her siblings, Anne and Duncan (Erin); her cousin Susan; and her siblings, Judy (Moe), Debbie (Al), Gordon (Jackie), Peter and Jeremy. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

I was in her group therapy for many years and she was the supportive, encouraging and kind maternal force I - and many others- needed. She helped me with humour and that twinkle in her eye, always, to find courage and change my life. She was brilliant. Jackie could see into the heart of someone’s struggles and help them see life in a new way. A precious person.”
