He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maureen Maxwell; his children, Marie Lynne, John Michael, Tabatha Ann, Grand-Poppa and Elijah; and his siblings, David (Diana), Douglas (Debbie), Marlyn, Karen and Suzie. He was also cherished by his family, friends, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (303 Riverside Dr, London, ON N6H1G2).
