He was predeceased by: his children, Bonnie, Paul and Patrick; his grandchildren, Steve and Sarah; and his brothers, David and Gerald.

He is survived by: his children, Robert (Margaret), Michael, Daniel and Susan (Mike); his sister Mary Stewart; and his sister-in-law Pat Logan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
