She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Walker and Gordon Walker; her husband Thomas Oates (Bud); her brother Leslie Walker; and her daughter-in-law Trish Oates.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis and Dave; her grandchildren, Chris, Brad, Erica and Matt; and her great grandchildren, Keira, Shelby, Lincoln and Taelyn. She is also survived by her family, grandkids and great grandkids.
