She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce; her brother George Hunt; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Winterton and Don Heighway. She is survived by: her children, Catherine (Wally MacKinnon) and Steve Heighway (Kim); her grandchildren, Mitchell Heighway (Meg), Brent Heighway and Emily MacKinnon; her sister Betty Bathgate (Bud); and her siblings-in-law, Bob Heighway (Midge), Don Winterton and Kit Hunt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held when Covid restrictions are lifted.
