Jeannie Whitehead Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannie Whitehead (London, Ontario), who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stan Gratton and Ruth Gratton; her former husband Glenn Newton; her sister Peggy Shepley; her in-laws, Daphne and Howard Newton; and her grandchild Lauren Bondy.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Whitehead; her daughters, Sarah Newton and Heather Derks (Ron); her stepdaughters, Lori Newton (Jim), Carla Brown (Rob), Tammy Bondy (Rosaire) and Angie Whitehead (Marc Dyke); her grandchildren, Jackson, Heron Derks, Tara, Tyler Peters, Daniel, Alysha Brown and Nicole; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Manners and Dalton Mitton; and her siblings, Yvonne Barley (Tom), Elaine Beierling (Scott), Donna Vine, Bill Gratton (Kari) and Becky Gratton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:25 PM and from 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home (2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1P8).
Donations in Jeannie's memory may be directed to Littlewood United Church where she was a long serving board member and active member of the congregation.
