She was predeceased by: her son Alan; her parents, Stanley Kippen and Eva Kippen; her brothers, Clifford and Bill; her siblings-in-law, Olive Kippen and Roy Smith; and her in-laws, Margaret Morton (Stuart), Shirley Cutten and Mary Millsap (Ralph).

She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her children, Cynthia (Marc Villeneuve), Ian (Lisa) and Douglas (Kristen Johnston); her grandchildren, Alec (Paige Feltham), Isabel (Luc Perron), Robert Villeneuve, Evan (Megan), Fraser MacRae (Hayley), Nora and Angus MacRae; her sister Natalie Smith; and her sister-in-law Catherine Kippen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
