He was predeceased by: his wife Melanie Morant; his parents, James Morant and June Morant; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Nancy Quinn.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Michelle) of London, Mollie Rose of London and Bridget (Andrew Reed) of London; his grandchildren, Sophie, Benjamin Rose, James, Henry Morant and Frederick Reed; and his brother Bill.
