Joan DeShane Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan DeShane (London, Ontario), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her nephew Peter DeShane (Jen Wilkins); her children, Barron, Raphael and Joshua Gall (Ho Yeon Kim); her grandchildren, Edward and Yuna; and her friends, Ed, David and Alex.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1997 Dundas St, London, ON N5V1P6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to The Grand Theatre.
