She is survived by: her children, Rick (Lisa), David (Carolyne) and Lynda (Murray); her siblings, Dave and Liz; her grandchildren, Amanda (Taylor), Matthew (Michelle), Kerstyn, Ryan, Megan and Devin; her great grandchildren, Mason and Emerson; and her friend Karin Seer.
Joan was a proud and long time member of Beta Sigma Phi, Red Hat Society and long time volunteer at the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Donations in Joan's name to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
