He is survived by: his children, Sharl Arnold (Fred Arnold) and Ken LaPorte (Kelly LaPorte); his grandchildren, Carlie Kramer (Dave Kramer), Ryan LaPorte (Taylor LaPorte), Amberley Arnold (Jamie Schmidt), Chris LaPorte and Emily LaPorte; and his great grandchildren, Leighton Kramer, Molly Kramer, Carson LaPorte, Nash LaPorte and Holden LaPorte.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
