He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cleary and Irene Cleary; and his brother Joseph Cleary. He is survived by: his sister Mary Catherine Gillen; his children, Anne McDougall (Steve) and John Cleary; his daughter-in-law Ildiko Jurina Cleary; his grandchildren, Andrew Cleary (Brett Cleary), Natalie Banghart (Alexander Banghart) and Danielle McDougall (Tyler Haymes); and his great grandchildren, James Banghart and Morgan Cleary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Justin Martyr's Parish (855 Jalna Blvd, London, ON N6E2S2). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
