With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Loraine Devecchi (London, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 97. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joyce Loraine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Vecchi and Ernest De Vecchi; her sister Joan; and her brother-in-law Alex Higman. She is survived by: her close friends, Mary-Joan Vallis, Scott Matthews and Valerie Wakonig; and her cousins, Diane Bexton of Grand Bend and Michael De Vecchi of London.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1997 Dundas St, London, ON N5V1P6).
