He was predeceased by: his parent Bert Ayling; and his brother-in-law Doug Cornelious. He is survived by: his parent Evelyn Ayling (Klemn); his wife Marilyn Ayling (Lane); his stepdaughter Brenda (Monger) of Stratford; his grandchildren, Quintin McDonnell (Sara), Cullen McDonnell (Sarah Thorne) and Lance McDonnell; his great grandchild Remco McDonnell; his siblings, Wayne Ayling (Fran), Terry Ayling (Linda) and Phyllis Munroe (Gord); and his siblings-in-law, Liz Cornelious and Gerald Lane.
