He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Kim); his children, Selvon Mohammed (Alisha), Karon Juigalli (Gordon), Lystra Shimla, Judy Kowlessar (Mukesh), Charmaine Mohammed and Deanne Hammond; his grandchildren, Aaron Shimla, Nishan, Jameelah Mohammed, Kayla and Stefan Kowlessar; and his siblings, Narisha Hussein, Habib Hamid, Shyroon Mohammed, Nazmoon Gopaul, Mymoona Ganesh, Shaheed Hamid, Jennifer Lee Qui, Wahid Hamid and Sherifa Hamid. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society London & Middlesex, 624 Clarke Road, London, ON N5V 3K5.
