He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vincent Harding and Helen Margaret Harding. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Marie Harding; his children, Kristen Michelle Gunn and Michael Christopher Harding; his grandchildren, Angus Robert Gunn and Ivy Moon Gunn; and his brothers, Robert Harding (Joanne) and Terry Harding. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
