She was predeceased by: her husband Puran Chand Bhalla; and her parents, Ram Dhawan and Chinto Dhawan. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Rashmi Bhalla; her grandchildren, Shivani and Vishnu Rai; her son Kapil Bhalla (Kiran); and her grandchildren, Tania and Daksh Bhalla.
